It's a wonderful combination of flavors served on mashed sweet potatoes. I have high iron levels, therefore use red meat sparingly, but this is delicious with ground turkey or chicken. In order to keep it low on the glycemic index I use fruit only jam or just some butter and a little agave. My kids love it with warmed maple syrup, though. We served these at our Valentine's Day Playgroup along with the Chocolate Raspberry Scones. They were tasty, and so much easier without the crust! It's a great way to get a serving of greens! I have been practicing with scone recipes and finally found one I enjoy. Honestly, my favorite scone still comes from Pamela's Baking Mix, but until I can tolerate her wonderful mix again, I will enjoy these tasty scones. My girls love them with whipped cream. I admit, I love mayonnaise. Not like eating it straight out of the jar love it, but with sandwiches, in dips, spreads, and salad dressings. It adds creaminess and tang that is just so good. My family really likes these fries, especially my girls! We don't even need dipping sauce.Vitamin A with over 700% of your RDA in one serving. In addition, they have a respectable amount of Vitamin C, B6, Potassium and fiber.

It certainly isn't dairy free, but my family just loves this simple velvety soup. Frigid weather combined with a couple sick girls has us making several soups recently. This one is a crowd pleaser for sure. We served it at our National Charity League meeting and received many thumbs up. I realize pork broth isn't a standard broth. In fact, I'm not sure you can even find it at the store. But when you are on a rotation diet which doesn't allow the use of chicken broth multiple times a week, you have to get creative. I really like using this for bean and lentil soups. By design, pork is one of my protein choices on bean and lentil day, such a great pairing!

Although my photography doesn't do justice, this turkey was so juicy and delicious! We brined it for 3 days before roasting. I need to work on my carving technique, but I think I have the recipe down.

A tasty quiche is a top contender for my favorite breakfast food. Of course, a buttery crust is just about my favorite part.
